This policy explains what Hoyakerii collects on this website and through the waitlist, why, and the choices you have. It covers the prelaunch website only; the Hoyakerii app will have its own privacy policy before it launches.
Who we are

What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address, and your first name if you give it.
- Where you plan to use Hoyakerii (Android, iOS or web), your country and your preferred language.
- Whether you asked for occasional news, and a record of the wording you agreed to and when.
- A one-way keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself), used only to stop abuse.
- How you found us, if the link you used said so (for example a campaign or referral code).
Why we use it
- To confirm your email address and tell you when Hoyakerii opens in your country. This is the only email you get unless you also asked for news.
- If you asked for news: occasional updates about Hoyakerii. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To protect the waitlist from spam and automated sign-ups.
- To understand, in totals only, which platforms, countries and languages to prepare first.
- We rely on your consent for these uses. You can withdraw it at any time.
Visit statistics
Only if you choose "Allow" in the banner, we count page visits and button presses with PostHog. We do not use cookies for this, we do not build profiles, and we never send your email or name.
If you choose "No thanks" or ignore the banner, nothing is counted.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Resend (sending email), Cloudflare Turnstile (checking that sign-ups come from people), Vercel (hosting this website), our database host [Supabase or Google Cloud, region to be confirmed], and PostHog (visit statistics, only with your permission).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
If you do not confirm your email within 30 days, your entry is deleted automatically.
If you confirm, we keep your entry until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or [period after launch to be confirmed], whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your waitlist data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@hoyakerii.xyz from the address you signed up with.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Adults only
Hoyakerii is only for people aged 18 and over. Please do not join the waitlist if you are under 18.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. [To be confirmed by legal review.]
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
